The biggest! Building, Ferris Wheel, Shopping Mall and Indoor Theme Park to name a few records. All mixed in with top luxury hotels, attractions and history.
Lying in the calm, blue waters of the southern Gulf and flanked by a majestic desert, the iconic city of Dubai is a place of fascinating contrast.
Dubai offers year-round sunshine and five-star luxury. Discover a distinctive blend of modern city and timeless desert where East meets West and where gleaming skyscrapers stand side-by-side with the intricate alleyways of the gold souks.
With more experiences on offer every year including dining, shopping and world-class theme parks, Dubai is a destination that nevers stands still. The Marina and JBR The Walk areas are fast becoming the ‘places to be’. The new and vibrant Nikki Beach, located on the waterfront of Pearl Jumeirah, showcases the stunning Arabian blue waters and panoramic views.
Where to stay
Jumeirah Beach? The Walk? The Palm? Downtown? Deira?
Dubia offers something for everyone, whether on a transit stop to Oz or the East, for a short beach break or as part of a tour of the Emirates.
The newly refurbished Jumeirah Beach Hotel is an iconic resort, with access across the Jumeirah chain of hotels and Wild Wadi Water Park. Young and free? Nikki Beach will tick the boxes. Families will be wowed by Atlantis the Palm and water park. Pushing the budget? Then head to the Burj Al Arab, the worlds only 7* hotel. Best for a transit stop on route to an Asian beach? We like the Palace at Downtown, shop till you drop in the mall next door and then spend the evening having dinner and cocktails overlooking the iconic Burj Khalifa fountains.
For a great half board deal Jumeirah hotels fit the bill along with the Habtoor Grand & Sofitel resorts. For all-inclusive then the JA resorts and Rixos the Palm take some beating.

Top tip, visit Dubai Museum and see what Dubai looked like in 1960
One of the simplest ways to see Dubai is with a Sightseeing Dubai ‘Hop on hop off’ bus ticket. One ticket is valid for a day and there are over 40 bus stops spread across eight routes citywide. For those that can deal with heights check out ‘At the Top’ in Burj Khalifa and take in the panoramic views from the top of the tallest building in the world.
We highly recommend the Sunset Safari, an afternoon dune drive to an authentic private bedouin desert camp. Enjoy a barbecue, belly dance performance, ride a camal, unwind with shisha or get a traditional Henna tattoo, all under the magnificent stars.
